2. Understanding BPA
2.1 What is BPA
BPA, also known as Bisphenol A, is one of the widely used industrial compounds with the chemical formula C15H16O2. It is used to manufacture various polymer materials such as polycarbonate hard plastics and epoxy resins, and can be used in multiple application fields such as plasticizing, flame retardant, antioxidant, and thermal stability. It can be said that its application range is very wide. Simply put, BPA is an artificially synthesized chemical raw material used to produce plastic products with specific functions, serving various aspects of our lives. In addition to artificial synthesis, some plastic materials can decompose and produce BPA. Although the BPA content produced by this method is not very high, it is widely present in various products, including but not limited to hundreds of daily necessities such as plastic bags, plastic bowls, and eyeglass lenses.

2.2 Hazards of BPA
BPA, as a widely used substance in daily life that people often come into contact with, has become a focus of attention on safety. Animal experiments have shown that oral, inhalation, injection, skin contact, and other methods can all pose health hazards. Although there is not a large amount of human data to support this, there is a basic consensus among people about its harm. Of course, the experimental dose is much higher than the dose that people are exposed to in their daily lives. Interested parties can consult relevant literature and journals. However, in terms of application, there are still controversies among countries. Some countries have banned the sale of food containers containing BPA, while others can still legally sell them. Of course, this is determined by multiple factors.
On May 30, 2011, China's Ministry of Health and six other departments issued a public announcement stating that due to the sensitive nature of infants and young children, in order to prevent food safety risks and protect their health, the use of bisphenol A in infant bottles is prohibited.

So, are there water cups that are convenient to carry and do not contain BPA? The answer is affirmative. Ttitan material is an FDA certified material for infant and toddler products in Europe and America. It does not contain BPA during the polymerization process and does not release BPA during use.
